Founded on May 20, 1955, and commencing its educational activities in 1963, our university provides education in the fields of Technical Sciences, Natural Sciences, Humanities, and Health Sciences. Additionally, through its vocational schools, which are among the most significant educational institutions meeting the technical workforce needs of our city, region, and country, it trains the skilled and professionally qualified individuals of the future. Likewise, through its graduate schools, it prepares highly qualified professionals and academic staff required by Turkey for the future.
Since its establishment, KTÜ has been providing associate, undergraduate, and graduate education at international standards with its strong infrastructure and qualified personnel. At the same time, through scientific research and development activities, it contributes both to the national and international scientific literature and to the technological development and advancement of our country and region.
